The Spring Championship of Online Poker
For this next entry regarding American poker online, I would like to further describe the offerings of PokerStars and talk about the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), a tournament series that the site hosts on a yearly basis. This year the series begins on May 2nd and runs through to May 16th, and in those two weeks, 38 events will take place. The site is guaranteeing an incredible $45,000,000 prize pool for the series.
Besides the fact it supports American poker online, possibly the best thing about SCOOP is that both the high stakes player and the low stakes player can participate because there are 3 different buy-ins for each event. This means that no matter how high or how low you play, you will still be able to earn some of that huge $45 million prize pool. To raise the stakes even more, each SCOOP champion will win a special watch in addition to their first place prize.
