Full Tilt Poker introduced the Black Card to reward people that download Full Tilt Poker. Essentially, it is a collection of perks given to high volume players. The extra benefits include access to the Black Card store, even more Full Tilt Points, and your very own customer service representative. As physical proof that they have been invited into such an exclusive club, each member will receive a physical Black Card in the mail.
You have to download Full Tilt Poker and spend a lot of hours on the site to get into the Black Card club. The Black Card requirement is a minimum of 500 Full Tilt Points averaged over 100 days. This basically means 50,000 Full Tilt Points must be earned over the course of 100 days. This is no easy task, especially for microstakes players. Unlike the highest VIP status on PokerStars, though, the Full Tilt team does not make their players wait a year to receive their rewards.
The most important store item for players in online poker rooms is usually cash bonuses. The Black Card store has bonuses between $50 and $2,000 for sale, and each bonus costs a specific number of Points to purchase. However, cash is not immediately deposited into a player’s real-money account. Players are required to clear this bonus; for every Full Tilt Point earned, $0.04 of the bonus is cleared. It seems to me that Full Tilt introduced this promotion to compete with Supernova, which is found on a PokerStars, one of the top Mac poker sites online. Possibly the best part of the Black Card is that it can be earned in as little as a few months. Supernova status takes an entire year to earn! It’s still a new promo, though, so we’ll see how it all pans out in the end.
